Hey everyone, I wanted to share these two videos featuring Mary-Kate and Ashley. The first video is commentary by the twins, which is adorable and some footage I have never even seen outside of a photograph or musical video tribute! The second video is MKA tending the bar a few weeks back. Enjoy!

So, my boyfriend and I have agreed to move in together. We still haven't found a place to live, but I can't help but fantasize as the thought of a new (shared!) home excites me a lot. Thus, the other night I was browsing through the entire The Selby, and I found a lot of inspiring things I thought I'd share with you.

BAKEBAKEBAKE,

This may be a shot in the dark, but I am wanting to send a few of my friends who live in different states/Canada something baked for christmas. I don't even know if this is possible, but I am open to any and every idea someone could give me. Even if the idea is just like: oh cookies ship well, that would be so super helpful because I am so confused as to what would ship well and have a possibility of arriving in one piece. If you have a favorite recipe or something that ships well, I'd appreciate that also.

Also, question number two, would Petit Fours ship well at all? I'm thinking not so much seeing as it is a cake and the time in the box would leave room for soggy cake upon arrival. Just wondering if anyone has ever shipped them with good results.

Thank you so much in advance, I appreciate it so much. I know I have a million requests, so thanks for reading!

p.s., dear mod, i'm sorry my tags probably aren't correct, I tried. <3

Last year whilst trying to avoid eating a Phillipa's mince pie every single day I worked in Armadale pre-christmas (best overpriced bakeries and cafes, dangerous, dangeous place to work) I stumbled across their cranberry shortbread and fell in love. I'm planning on making little bags of them as christmas gifts this year so I did a test run with this recipe and I think I'm in love. Next time I'll chill the dough and roll it so I can cut some simple christmas shapes but otherwise it was perfect - the melt in your mouth shortbread was really lifted by the chewy cranberry pieces - plus it makes them look pretty!

Does anyone know of a recipe for fondant that doesn't attempt to devour you?
My last attempt was a marshmallow based fondant, and while I'm not sure what went wrong, both my friend and I were nearly devoured by it.
Any tips/ ideas or what have you would be much appreciated. ^^

i currently have 4 appointments booked for make overs for 9th dec, prom, two at shu uemura and two at lancome, both are at taka (:

the timings and details are as follow:

SHU UEMURA
Slots : 2-3 & 3-4pm
Price : $55-$60

LANCOME
Slots : 3-4pm & 4-5pm
Price: $30-$40

*I've personally tried shu eumura for my cedar prom and its really quite nice. Dont really need to worry bout makeup disaster or what cause the makeup artist will usually ask what colour is your dress if you want smoky or etc etc, so yes they'll go in according to your preferrence :D

There are only two more slots available, cause one for me one for yvette and two more (: if no one wants i'll release the slots then ahaha, or maybe let someone else have it cause apparently its quite hard to get makeovers from the counters now, everyone is having prom la wth haha.

Oh and i think we might be booking a hotel, so yes if you're interested er let someone know? okay no tell greg or yvette hahah okay byebye!

So I know this is a weird picture. I took it out of the magazine from which I got the recipe. But I promise I really did make it, and it was really easy and, possibly, the very best chocolate pie I have ever tasted in my life. I just forgot to photograph it before it was devoured.

I have been on a pretty strict diet since June. I've lost 60 pounds, but haven't baked much. I don't really eat sweets at all now because I avoid all the fake sugar. In order to eat healthy and sustainable, I have been limited. So at Thanksgiving, I wanted to make something that was healthy, and low(ish) in sugar, but also decadent and yummy. When I found this recipe in the November issue of Health magazine, I had to try it.

HUGE HIT!
