 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR CHYE SHUWEN cafe hunting buddies :)  morning 9am (supposed to be 8.30am) macdonalds breakfast with Shu and Mins mins and i are the birthday breakfast team (BBT) and we were totally dressed as a team :)    toying around with the holga flash that kennth gave to me love the twilight effect  and then we drove to dempsey for a very very lovely lunch at PS cafe I really can't capture the essence of this place in words, you need to take a trip down yourself and discover the wonder that is PS cafe. So i'll just tell you what we ordered and let the photos speak for themselves. I am thoroughly in love with PS cafe. Thank you for the very lovely lunch shu. :)               amazing aromatic truffle fries sprinkled with parmesan cheese  fish and chips with fat fat fries  vegetable lasagne (which was surprisingly really good, even if you love meat)  the ps club sandwich which was so-so, but the bread was amazingly crisp     this is double chocolate blackout cake with chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream THIS IS MY FAVOURITE DESSERT OF ALL FREAKING TIME seriously. the mega ass huge tall cake is just to die for. Shu and I took a look at it in the display and KNEW we had to have a slice :)    banana crumble!  sticky toffee cake with ice cream and extra caramel the toffee icing is amazing. very very very sweet cake, if you really have a sweet tooth.  we also had profiteroles which were drenched (as the menu describes) in dark chocolate sauce and flaked almonds. My pictures are all out of focus so I;'ll wait for shu's then upload. we also had key lime pie which was a refreshing change from the chocolatey desserts we all ordered.  flowers lining the wooden boardwalk in   happy birthday my dear :) I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your birthday. I know I sure did. I know being 19 opens no new doors, not like turning 18 or 21 but it's still awesome to join the 19 year old club now, with all yo friends. But still, soon we'll all be trooping off to Uni and a whoole new exciting experience will start and I can't wait for us to all get back together again in December :) |

 Mmm I've spent quite a bit of time in the East recently, ( Read more... ) And saturday evening saw VJC turning 25 years old, mmm a quarter of a good century :) Dinner under a massive white canopy, jumbo seafood buffet, macaroons from bakerzin, 07a12, photos and videos of teachers in a way that you would never like to see but had massive fun seeing anyways.                   I love VJC :) |

  Cafe Diaries part 6! THIS ONE TOPS IT ALL. I swear, and I came upon this place by chance in this free magazine I picked up, which had a really small feature article on this place. :) Its called 15 Minutes, located in Laselle School itself. The whole building itself is cool, so you can just imagine what this cafe is like. I think me trying to describe it here would do it no justice whatsoever, so just make a trip down and see for yourself. You will definitely not regret this. ( Read more... )

This week. I've had lunch with the girl knights at Empire State at Iluma (which is actually kind of a rip off of new york new york) but if you are a big eater, you should definitely give this place a try. The portions are HUGE. Jaslyn Rena Wenwen and I shared the empire state burger, which by the way should ALWAYS BE SHARED, and if you manage to polish off the whole burger and the whole plate of fries that comes along with it please let me know I need to meet you oh great one. its huge, 8 inches in diameter, the patty is about 2 inches (or more) thick and surrounding this meat filled glory is a whole ocean of fries. Big Fat Fries. Mmmm. Huiting had a pasta, which she couldn;t finish as well. HUGE ASS PORTIONS. we then proceeded to take NEOPRINTS haha yeah omg the last time I took a neoprint was in.. (uhm).. Yeah you get the idea. and then it was Parkway to meet Nadia for yoghurt and all the other TSD-ers that I have not seen in forever! We rushed through parkway trying to find something to buy, because majority of us are shopaholics like that (every other sentence that Rena said to me that day was a "I need to buy a....") And it was school for Private P I miss tsd and the tsd-ers and just goofing around in 24 and performing and making my damn masks and fretting over critcoms and sitting at the garden tables in the morning nearing exams stressing out with everyone and doing the last minute touch ups to our props and masks and whatnots, and coming back for slots in blacks and eating junkfood that we stored in our fridge and reading wierd and strange and terribly funny messages written on the board or pasted outside the clinic door. Wednesday morning was also Graces surprise farewell breakfast at her place, MACS BFAST FTW! (people laughed at my swollen cheek and took many photos with it) 
 My one and only 4by400m teammates.
